About Yangzi
Hi there, I am Yangzi Chen and I am now spending my gap year in NZ with a working holiday visa. I spend 7 years at Wuhan University studying philosophy and theory of literature in order to learn more about past and present China under the tutelage of professors who are the best in this field. And they deeply encourage me to follow their path and share what I have learned with people who are also interested in Chinese culture and language. Also, I believe that learning a foreign language is one of the best tools for understanding different cultures and generate a more diverse opinion of the world and It is my pleasure to help you with that by using my professional knowledge and seek for a bigger world together.

Using the personalized methodology for your needs within typical 30 minutes every lesson, I believe that interest is the best teacher, therefore I would start with what you feel most attractive, such as Chinese history, Chinese culture, modern Chinese society, etc. I have a bachelor's degree in philosophy and a master's degree in the theory of literature from Wuhan University, which provides me with diverse knowledge about China at both the theoretical level as well as practical levels.
