About Enrico

I am a composer graduated from the Conservatory of Palermo, I lived in Australia, and I have always cultivated a love for composition and, more specifically, for the composition of film music; for this reason I have attempted admission to the Berklee School of Music in the Film Music Master and have recently been admitted for the academic year 2023/2024.

I have been working for years with two companies that allow me to work doing what I like most, that is writing music and, specifically, I work as an orchestrator with:
- musiversal, a company that plans and manages orchestral recording sessions in Budapest and Prague;
- Casa del Musical, a theater company that brings original musicals to the stage, of which I take care of the music and arrangements.

I also work as a composer of music for short films and, more rarely, of symphonic and chamber music.

About the lesson

Harmony and Music Theory are not theoretical sciences in which there are rules to be learned by heart; these are practical topics that we can get direct feedback from in musical literature.
For this reason, my lessons are usually divided into two moments:
- correction of exercises and learning of new topics;
- listening and analysis of music directly from scores of great composers (we will also see many scores of soundtracks of great films).
This last point is very important. With me, you will listen to a lot of music and we will discuss it together. It is important to find practical examples of what may at first glance appear to be just theoretical rules.

We will use computers and music writing programs a lot, I use Dorico and Sibelius.
