About Lea
I graduated with a BFA in visual arts, minor in art history and children’s literature. I havehave taught pre-K through fifth grade for 20 years. I have worked in special ed for 3 of those. And the last 4 years worked as a Pre-K teacher at a school that works with kids with disabilities. I also have dyslexia myself and went through many years of tutoring to help me learn to read when I was younger. I know many ways to help teach how to read and help increase both fluency and comprehension.

I have dyslexia my self. So I know exactly what it’s like to struggle to read. As a child, I learned to love to reading, even though it was a struggle at first.
