About Jillyn
I love working with kids to become the best versions of themselves. I have a younger brother who is one of my best friends in the whole world. Growing up, all I wanted was to make his life easier. Everyday I wanted to teach him things I already learned through the years. This included sports, friends, academics, anything and everything I thought could help make him successful or he reached out to me for.

I like to start each lesson with an activity intended to stimulate the brain like unscrambling words or a puzzle activity. Majority of the time spent teaching the content and then the student practicing. I believe in allowing the student to productively struggle. I am certified for 4-9 math and science but I'm comfortable teaching Geometry and Algebra II as well.
