I meet my students where they are academically, not grade-wise. I work with them to build their confidence in themselves so that they are able to achieve more. Depending on the area of reading, my lessons will be engaging, fun, and hands-on. I am experienced with students that are significantly below their grade level (2+ years) and have been able to bring them up within one year of their grade level. My lessons would be for students in elementary grades, kindergarten through sixth grade. My lessons would include reading comprehension, reading fluency, phonics, spelling, and grammar.
