I try to focus on providing an active learning method for the student. Understanding and reviewing what they have learnt and retaining the information is the most crucial part. So I constantly ask the student question, their learning may seem slow, but it builds a strong foundation in the understanding of all the topics necessary to take exams or go further into the studies.
I can offer different lengths and levels depending on the students' level of focus and their age. If they are willing to take a 1.5~2-hour lesson, I can offer that. If they have difficulty focusing, I can offer an hour-long class.
I have strong 4 months experience working as a tutor, where two of my students have seen strong development in their knowledge of the subject and growth in their grades within just two months of working with me.
Most of my students are at least Year 9, which I would prefer for the student to be.
