I struggled. I struggled with music reading and writing. I struggled with sight singing and the circle of fifths. And then I realized: many schooling entities make this too hard! Why are we making this harder on ourselves than it needs to be! Music is for the masses, not the select few. It is a learned skill, so there is some work involved, but it’s not nearly as difficult and some would have you believe. It’s a puzzle, and you just need the edge pieces.
