I am very patient due to my extensive background in child care. I also struggled with dyslexia so I had to work twice as hard to understand formulas, but that only gave me an appreciation for math. This allowed me to teach others the tips and tricks that helped me understand the basic formulas regardless of the numbers I mix up. I would tailor my teaching plan to the students because every student struggles differently and learns differently, so it would be beneficial to adjust appropriately.
