About Sam
I have a Bacelors of Science in Environmental Science and to get there I spent 4 years getting my undergrad, writing a thesis on early childhood education and the natural world, I also wrote and illustrated a scientific-themed children's book in that time. Since receiving my degree, I've been teaching students from pre-k through 5th grade in the classroom and outdoors. I'm a kind and gentle human and youe education means so much to me! I teach because I know kids are chaging the world! Maybe even saving it.

I like to have fun, I'd like to think I can turn any learning activities into a game or something more fun than just listening to your teacher or tutor. At the same time, I'm here to help students work through tough problems, get past hurdles, and build them up. This is how we learn! Truly!
I was a student too once, I remember the teachers who made sure their kids were confident in their abilities and skills, they made me want to keep learning! And that's my main goal too!
I am familiar with younger students, elementary- aged primarily, so my lesson planning would be directed towards those ages.
