About Ben
Earth scientist undergraduate at the University of Oxford. Live in Leeds, and spend my free time playing Rugby league and Ice Hockey.
I have tutored students applying to natural sciences at Oxbridge, and also those studying for A levels.
I studied Maths (A*), Further Maths(A), Physics(A*) and Geology(A*) at Greenhead college, and 12 GCSEs at Heckmondwike grammar school.
I would love the opportunity to help you achieve everything you can academically, but mainly to help you enjoy it!

-Tutoring will be tailored to individual's needs. I am happy to set and look at work completed between sessions if tutees are willing and have enough time.
-Most of my lessons will be informal, and involve discussions of ideas where necessitated. I know all too well how draining repeating question methods can be, so I aim to help you understand the method and therefore have its application become intuitive. Whilst I will give ample time for revision of exam materials where needed, I will try push you to think critically about more creative questions that will enhance the way you approach problems.
-My experience as both a student and now tutor for Oxbridge applicants means I know a sufficient deal of information about application processes of universities - along with any A level material I can also aid you with this.
- A level tutoring in: Maths, Physics, Further Maths, Geology (+chem/bio)
-Tutoring for GCSEs in maths/sciences/geography/geology.
- Tutoring for university applications in natural/Earth sciences - including entrance exams.
