About Chiara
Languages have been my study subject for many years, first in classical high school and then at university. But even before that I had a strong passion for Italian - my native language - especially writing and reading.
During my university years I studied standar Chinese language and culture , and during my third year I was able to attend Beiwai University in Beijing, an experience about which, despite the difficulties, I have never had any regrets.
Languages allow me to approach new cultures, not only because they are means of communication, but also because I am convinced that language has a strong link with reality and can even influence it. Therefore the knowledge of a culture necessarily passes through its language.
