About Nikol
My background is in pure mathematics. I completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Charles University in Prague and have studied advanced probability, statistics, stochastic processes, and mathematical modeling at Master's level. Alongside my studies, I have tutored mathematics for many years and currently teach mathematics at an international school in Prague.
I work with students ranging from high school to university level, including calculus, linear algebra, probability, and statistics. I also have experience supporting students in English-language programs such as IB and other international curricula.
Outside mathematics, I was a competitive swimmer for many years, including representing the Czech Republic internationally. That experience taught me the value of discipline, patience, and long-term improvement—qualities that are just as important in learning mathematics as they are in sport.

I teach mathematics because I genuinely enjoy helping people understand ideas that initially seem impossible.
