About John
I’ve been tutoring the bar exam since December of 2021. For the February Bar Exam, I was tutoring students from 40-70 hours per week and gained invaluable experience in working with students in all aspects of the bar. This experience has made me able to provide value as a tutor. Additionally, I understand any and all students learn differently so I place an emphasis on balancing this experience with an understanding that every student will have their own subjective needs.

I work with students regularly during the bar exam season to help learn the substantive areas of law, as well as how to strategize for the MBE and MEE (and occasionally the MPT).
For the MBE, I focus on applying legal topics to the complex fact patterns presented on an exam question. This includes identifying common fact patterns you may see on an issue, common trap answers for each subject, etc. overall my focus is for you to apply your substantive knowledge in a way that you can identify strong answers while eliminating common traps.
As to the MEE, my main focus is organizing your writing in a way that you’re writing in a way that the test graders want. This includes a strategy of methodically breaking down issues broadly and then getting more specific with the analysis to minimize the risk of missing issues
