About Elia
I got my Ph.D. in math last year, after doing my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in physics. I worked as a TA for four years across lots of university-level math courses, so chances are I’ve seen the course you need help with before. Students have always given me great feedback, and I’ve received a few teaching awards along the way. I’ve also been tutoring privately for over 10 years, so I’ve built up a lot of experience.

The first people I "tutored" were friends and classmates who needed help to pass a math test. Since then, more than 10 years have passed, and I have tutored many others. I enjoy teaching math. For me, math makes sense, and I try my best to convey that message when I tutor. There is nothing crazy difficult in math, just small pieces that one has to put together like a puzzle.
When I teach, I adapt as much as possible to my students' needs. No two students are alike, and each one needs different things. Can't you understand a mathematical theorem? I'm there to help. Do you need regular assistance with your homework? We can schedule weekly meetings. Do you need to practice for a test? I'm available for that as well.
