About Alejandro
I have worked my career supporting students as a Higher Education professional, but seek to utilize my expertise outside of my current university role.
I was a passionate learner throughout my own educational pursuits, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's in Higher Education and Student Affairs with high honors for both my degrees.
That being said I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for hard work, practice, and learning from those who have supported me. I believe fully that we all need help at times and I love passing my knowledge along and paying it forward!

My career in Higher Education & Student Affairs and graduate education has given me an understanding of students and their development as scholars.
I understand fully that everyone learns at different paces and I avoid settling for a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Instead I hope to tailor my lesson plans to the goals and aspirations of the student, to support their growth and confidence in their studies.
I carry myself with patience and hope to provide an encouraging level of reassurance and support to any student that I work with. I aim to show you that you have what it takes to be successful already, while offering that extra boost to get there!
I am comfortable working with K-12 students, whether earlier in their educational journey or preparing those last steps before pursuing college. In addition I am equipped to help students who have already begun their college journey and need that extra support towards scholarly success.
