About Emanuel
My name is Emanuel, and I am a graduate with an MASt in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge and a First-Class degree from Lancaster University. During the last 4 summers, I was an instructor at the AwesomeMath Summer Program, an intensive online programme attended by students aiming to improve their performance in mathematical contests. This experience taught me how to prepare in advance for efficient teaching. During high school and college, I participated in different mathematical competitions, my best achievement being winning the National Mathematical Olympiad in my native country, Romania. One of the results of my passion for mathematics was acquiring the necessary skills to learn and teach difficult concepts. Whether you are someone who is very passionate about mathematics or someone who utterly dislikes it, my goal is not only to teach you mathematics but also to help you appreciate it more and develop the important skills to learn it independently.

I have always loved mathematics, and from my own experience learning it, as well as teaching at a mathematical olympiad summer camp for 4 years, I’ve found that my greatest skill as a tutor is breaking down difficult concepts into simple, understandable ones.
