About Tim
Hi, my name is Tim and I have just graduated with a degree in Physics and Math. I teach math and physics because I know firsthand how challenging these subjects can feel. When I was studying, I struggled with math myself and understand how frustrating it can be to feel stuck. With the right guidance and clear explanations, though, I discovered how much progress is possible and that experience is what drives me to help others. Over the past 3 years tutoring college-level math, I’ve had to find many different ways to explain challenging topics so they really click with students. I focus on building confidence as well as understanding. I want my students not only to improve their grades but also to feel capable and motivated when tackling problems.

Sessions usually include a quick review, focused teaching/practice, and a recap or next steps. - 3 years tutoring university-level math and 4 years tutoring Junior Cert and Leaving Cert math.
