About Hayley
I started learning Latin and Greek from a young age and fell in love with it. Now, having studied it for over a decade, I don't want to lose it! Whilst I'm currently working as an actor (my dream job!) I also want to keep up my language skills on the side and instil a love of the Classics in others, which is my favourite part of tutoring (other than achieving great academic results of course!). I've moved back home from Cambridge and am based just outside of London at the moment.

Inspired by my time at Cambridge, where I graduated with a First Class degree in Classics, I like to structure my lessons like a supervision - the student will be asked to prepare homework in advance which will inform where the lesson takes us. Depending on the student's weaknesses, we can focus on vocab learning and grammar revision through translation exercises, or we can look at the student's set texts for literature exams. I'm always eager to adapt to my student, both in content and style of teaching, so that we can work together to make lessons as fruitful and fun as possible! My lessons are an hour long, and I can tutor at any level, having previously tutored beginners and GCSE students, as well as my classmates at A Level and University. In addition to Cambridge-style teaching in Latin and Greek, I can provide assistance in Oxbridge applications and interview practice depending on the student's needs.
