About Colleen
I became a teacher and a tutor because I wanted it to be less painful and more enjoyable for my students to be able to read. I got my first degree, but I didn’t know how to diagnose students. When I got my master's, they gave me the prescription to solve their problem and the treatment program. I still use it today.

I have spent my career helping students find the areas that are giving them the most difficulty and giving them independent lessons to solve their problem. Then we use those solutions to attack the specific types of questions they are trying to master. I have had students come back and tell me they passed a state exam for the first time. They were going into 9th grade. Practice makes perfect.
