About Alyssa
I am a recent graduate of Bowdoin College with a degree in Romance Languages & Literatures and Psychology. I have eight years of experience speaking French, including 6 months living in France, and four years of experience in Italian. I have worked as a learning assistant for both Advanced French and Elementary Italian courses, and would love to continue helping learners develop their language skills.

Given my experience both studying and teaching several languages, I know how to properly introduce you to a new language and help you reach your goal, whether that be basic conversational skills or advanced reading and writing.
I tend to prioritize the use of conversation in lessons (adapted to your existing language level), so that you feel ready to speak with native speakers.
Most of my experience has been with beginner-level students, but I am happy to help all beginner to intermediate level learners develop their skills.
