About Mechelle
I have been an English teacher for over 25 years. I have been nominated as teacher of the year four times in my career. I was awarded the District Students' Best Teacher from my building by the students. I have been teaching online for the past two years. I am presently an English teacher for my districts Virtual Academy. I believe there are different strategies to engage and teach different learners.

My lessons incorporate unique strategies to catch and keep the attention of the scholars as well as offer optimal retention. The use of online videos and interactive lessons are geared at making sure the scholars don't just learn to regurgitate, but learn to internalize information for present and future use. Also..I like to smile. Very energetic!
