About Angel
Hi! My name’s Angel, and I’m a friendly and patient tutor who enjoys helping students understand topics that may initially seem difficult or overwhelming. Having studied Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology at Higher Level in the IB Diploma Programme, I understand how challenging these subjects can be and how much of a difference the right explanation can make.
I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and working through problems at their own pace. Rather than simply giving answers, I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind them so they can eventually tackle similar questions independently.

My approach to teaching involves demonstrating concepts clearly before allowing students to practise them independently. I break complex topics into smaller, manageable steps, using examples and questions to check understanding along the way. I then encourage students to apply what they have learnt themselves, providing guidance where needed. I also adapt my explanations and pace to suit each student’s learning style and level of understanding, with the aim of building both their confidence and independence.
