About Mary
I am a graduate of UAB, with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. I love anything math and science related and strive to both teach and show that math and science are both fun! We use math in every area of our lives, the secret to learning it is to take the same approach that you do to everyday life. When it becomes too stressful just take a step back, give your mind a break and then go back to it...maybe even with a different approach!

I take a personalized, progressive approach to each student's tutoring plan based on the student's way of learning, schedule and by using their strong points as a means to focus on their weaker areas. I set weekly goals that incorporate all materials from each previous session as a means of teaching more complex points.
