About Ramon

I am a dedicated, high-achieving tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students build confidence and improve results. I achieved strong GCSE results, including a grade 8 in English Literature and grade 7 in English Language, as well as excellent grades in subjects such as History, Geography and Business Studies. I have also previously taken on mentoring responsibilities, helping younger students prepare for exams and improve their performance in core subjects. I have also completed 2 and a half years at a London law firm so know exactly what firms are looking for.

Alongside my academic strengths, I bring a professional, structured and supportive approach to every lesson. My background in law and high-level study has strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly, break down difficult topics into manageable steps, and help students develop effective exam technique. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to suit the individual, whether they need help catching up, building confidence, improving writing skills, or preparing for important exams.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging and results-focused. I aim to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, engaging with the subject, and pushing themselves to improve. I not only focus on subject knowledge, but also on helping students develop the confidence, discipline and learning habits that support long-term success.

About the lesson

I offer supportive, structured and results-focused tutoring tailored to each student’s individual needs. My approach is centred on building confidence as well as academic ability, because I believe students perform best when they properly understand the material and feel comfortable asking questions.
I work patiently with students to identify their strengths, target weaker areas, and develop clear strategies for improvement. Whether the goal is catching up, preparing for exams, improving essay writing, strengthening subject knowledge, or simply becoming more confident in the classroom, I adapt lessons to suit the student’s pace and learning style.

My lessons are engaging, organised and practical. I break down difficult topics into simple, manageable steps and make sure students leave each session with a clearer understanding than they came in with. I also place strong emphasis on exam technique, independent thinking, and building habits that lead to long-term progress.
