About Phillip
I have an intense curiosity for all forms of knowledge. I love reading fantasy and science fiction, and have read hundreds of books in those genres. I am an amateur writer in the process of finishing my first book.
I have taught for a year at Bryanston Primary and for two years at Curro Mossel Bay. I have been tutoring for more than four years and have five years of experience in leadership skill development at Valuetrix.
I am friendly, compassionate, and kind. I will work with my learners to have the most fun lessons possible as we strive for excellent marks.

I am fluent in both Afrikaans and English. I have taught from grade 4 to grade 11, and can tailor my lessons to suit the needs of the learner. I offer advanced English lessons in Creative Writing, Essay writing, and Poetry. I also provide basics like the rules of writing, spelling, and grammar.
Typical lessons will focus on areas where the learner feels they are weakest. Then I will shore up those weaknesses by explaining the missing theoretical knowledge, practising that knowledge, and revising to ensure long-term retention of those skills.
