I'm a graduate The University of Manchester with First Class Honours in Economics & Politics. Throughout this time, I undertook a strong mixture of maths and essay-writing. I have previously tutored in both Maths and English (Literature) for students ranging from 8-16, in addition to having taken both of these subjects myself at A-Level. Additionally, I have provided tutoring services to an adult taking a college course. I am willing to teach English up to A-level, and Maths up to GCSE. I have played piano and clarinet for 17 and 13 years respectively, and whilst I have not formally taught them before, the years of experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of both the instruments themselves, and how best to enjoy and improve on them. Therefore I am happy to teach both up to an intermediate standard.
I am a lively, down-to-earth and patient person, and do everything I can whilst tutoring to ensure that the student is feeling happy and comfortable. I'll never teach a student in a style that doesn't suit them, and have an adaptive approach so that each person can feel as good and confident as possible throughout sessions.
