About Maison
I have a degree in Japanese and studied abroad in Japan (Kansai University) for a year. I also wrote my dissertation on language learning. I also have tutored many people in languages so I can help you learn a language and help you find your learning style too!

I have studied many languages over the past ten years, and so I have learnt a wide range of language learning methods. For beginner Japanese, the focus would be on learning Hiragana and Katakana as well as how to introduce yourself and talk about familiar things. Most of the emphasis will be on being able to hold a spoken conversation, though I feel practising writing is also important, as well as learning to use some kanji.
