Most of my tutoring experience consists of tutoring young adults in topics such as college algebra, trigonometry, geometry, calculus, and statistics. I also have some experience tutoring students in k-12.
A typical tutoring session with me will begin with a brief discussion of your current understanding of the material and any specific topics you would like to focus on. We will then begin working through problems and examples together. I will use a variety of teaching methods, such as visual aids, real-world examples, or hands-on activities to help you fully grasp the concepts. You will be encouraged to ask questions and participate actively in the session to get the most out of the experience. Throughout the session I will provide feedback and guidance to help you identify and correct any errors or misunderstanding. I will also offer tips and strategies to help you approach and solve problems more efficiently and effectively. My goal by the end of the session is to build your confidence in the topic area and give you the tools to continue independently. I look forward to working together to accomplish your academic goals.
