Hello, I’m Allie! I’m a graduate student getting my MFA and previously received my Bachelors of Arts in Humanities. I have experience in tutoring arts and can connect different forms to other subjects like anthropology, philosophy, and sociology. I have also taught summer school for elementary school students focusing on STEM.

I find that art is spread diversely though other subjects. Focusing on one subject continuously can be tiring and by helping students focus on the importance of art in other areas of learning, can help them understand specific forms of art. With patience and practice, students will learn how to notice the connections and will apply critical thinking skills in art as well as other subjects.
