About Roshni
I have a Bachelor's degree in Education, which means I am a trained professional with a deep understanding of how to create a safe and enriched learning environment for all students. I'm currently completing my Master of Social Work degree, which gives me a unique understanding of how different factors affect students' ability to learn and grow. I also work as a Student Therapist who puts her clients' needs first just as I put my students' needs first as a teacher/tutor! Lastly, I've had my fair share of struggles with grades, but for the most part, I've been a straight-A student and have always loved school and learning (I know that's nerdy, but I hope that inspires some confidence!)

I firmly believe in explaining why concepts are relevant before I dive into details. I use teaching methods that fit the student instead of making the student fit my teaching method! A combination of visuals, interactive exercises, and lectures is what tends to work best, but I'm always happy to adapt based on what students find most helpful. I'm most comfortable tutoring/teaching Sciences and Math for Grades 7-11 with some Grade 12 experience as well.
