About Joan

I am an MSc student, specialising in Cloud Computing and I also hold a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. I worked for nearly 2 years as an Associate Software Engineer in Experion Technologies, India and worked on both front-end and back-end development. I have strong web development skills and currently learning cloud programming.

I have a solid knowledge of Maths and Physics from my school and college(Engineering) days. I have always been a top scorer in Maths, throughout School and College days, always scoring above 90%.

About the lesson

1. Customized Learning: I believe in tailoring the tutoring experience to each student's unique learning style and pace. This way, I can address individual strengths and weaknesses effectively.

2. Visual Aids and Examples: I use visual aids, diagrams, and real-world examples to help students understand abstract concepts and relate them to practical applications.

3. Problem-Solving Focus: In subjects like mathematics and physics, problem-solving is crucial. I guide students through various problem-solving techniques and strategies, building their confidence in tackling different types of questions.

4. Hands-On Coding: For computer science and programming, hands-on practice is essential. I can provide coding exercises, projects, and code reviews to strengthen the students' programming skills.

Typical Length of a Lesson:
The typical length of a lesson can vary depending on the complexity of the topic and the student's attention span. Generally, a session can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Longer sessions can be split into multiple segments with short breaks to maintain focus.

Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor:
I have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cloud Computing. I have experience in volunteering to teach kids and adults of various ages on a variety of subjects including Programming and Maths.
