About Bailey
Currently in graduate school for Political Science and receiving a certificate in Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies. My background includes International Relations, Political Theory and Philosophy, Gender and Politics, and Methodology. My undergraduate degrees were in the same academic areas. I have experience working in local government, campaigning, activism, Model United Nations, and student advocacy. I have spent the last year as a Teaching Assistant and doing private tutoring.

I like to approach each topic through discussions to promote critical and original thinking. In order to accomplish this, we apply theories to real-life examples and particularly attempt to identify why a theory may not be the best explanatory method, and explore what modifications would allow the theory to comprehensively explain the issue. This creates students that can think through a problem, apply principles of theories accurately and creatively, and develop original thoughts that could be used for research, thesis projects, etc.
