About Eve
I am an expierenced tutor who has been working in the reading and literacy field for the last 3 years. I specialize in teaching children wth learning challenges, but am also comfortable working with teens, adults, and everything inbetween! My teaching method approaches each topic from the big picture or gestalt of the subject, and slowly zooms in to spots where confusion may arise. I am looking to tutor kids over the summer before starting graduate school for speech language pathology in the fall, and possibly beyond! I am also a backpacking guide, trained lifeguard, dance instructor and artist.

I am a young, creative, motivated individual who wants to help you succeed! I have a bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology, and am trained to work with individuals who have learning challenges, but am happy to work with any age and ability! My strategy is to work directly with the snags in your curriculum, where exactly are the points of confusion, and how do they relate to the big picture. I love to work with my students on writing especially, and breathing life into the most boring of texts.
