About Martha
As a tutor, my job is to make sure my students engage in deep processing — thoroughly understanding the meaning behind what they’re studying. I encourage students to listen and communicate early and often. I understand the frustration that many sutdents experience when reading and/or writing. That being said, I will provide students with enough time to formulate their responses, whether in speaking or in writing. My goal is to assist students with their work while instilling confidence in their voices!

Lesson plans will vary depending on the individual's needs, goals, and assignment. Focus is on grades K1-12. My goal is to help students with English including: reading, writing, proofreading, creative writing, etc. I want my students to understand that it is okay to admit what you do and do not know. My tutoring sessions will give students an opportunity to learn and grow in the subject and in confidence!
