About Jessica
My name is Jessica Lovell. I am a bubbly, outgoing 18-year-old with work experience with children. I've worked in school holiday programs and as a babysitter, and am police vetted. I am passionate about academics and love sharing this passion with others. I want to help tutor others because I love seeing others unlock their full potential and grow their confidence in their learning.

My approach to private tutoring is to provide a supportive and safe environment. I prefer to initially test students on their knowledge, identify and note down the gaps and then work our way up from there. I like to use warm-up worksheets and exercises when working with younger students to make content more digestible and prevent distractions. For all ages, I encourage students to think for themselves and use prompts to guide them, i.e., help, not tell. I always write down students' progress and am happy to then go over this with students and parents.
