About Shaanvi
My name is Shaanvi and I am currently working at on of the big four banks as an AVP. I completed my masters degree from Johns Hopkins University (MS in Engineering Management with a concentration in Finance).I am originally from India and have taken many college entrance exams including the SATs, Subject Tests, and AP tests. I am extremely passionate about teaching and have actively taken Teaching Assistant positions during my graduate degree. I'm excited to meet you all!

I begin by evaluating the student's mathematics skills with a fundamental evaluation that touches on all the major aspects of the topic. I will be able to tell from the assessment what the student already knows and what skills they need to develop. I will go through issues we need to spend more work on and things the child and/or parent seem to be skilled in with them. After asking if there is anything additional they would like them to learn and if there are any special learning needs I should be aware of, I will put a plan into action.
