About Madi
I have extensive experience in writing, reading, text analysis, and academic support for struggling students. I've had experience tutoring almost every subject and am always working to find innovative and fun ways to help students grasp challenging topics.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Mass Media from the University of Central Florida and am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum at Boston University.
I have almost two years of experience teaching in a public and private school setting. I firmly believe that good relationships between students and teachers automatically improve their chances of academic success.

- I prefer to teach lessons step-by-step, explaining in a way that the student best understands. I do not move on until students feel more confident grasping a question or subject. Questions are encouraged!
- Typically, we'll review an assignment the student needs help understanding. We'll go question by question, and slowly we'll transfer to the student working more and more on their own.
- I'm a very compassionate and empathetic person. I harbor no judgment towards any student, no matter what they need help on. You're a 10th-grade student that doesn't understand how 3+4=7? No problem! I'll be more than happy to help you get there.
- Lessons are mostly for 9th-12th grade students, but anyone at any age or grade level needing extra help is welcome!
