About Dan
I have undergraduate degrees in both biology and chemistry. In addition, I have a graduate degree in biology and a biotechnology graduate certificate. I also have attended medical school, so I have quite a bit of knowledge on a variety of subjects. During my education, I had the opportunity to teach and tutor various students, assist professors with their classes, conduct various types of research, and write various reports for a variety of projects. My diverse background allows me to teach multiple topics and give students ways to integrate their knowledge with other topics and interests of their choice. Having been through so many teaching experiences, I know common mistakes and problems students have and how to tackle them in a patient and fun learning environment.

- I prefer to teach with a mixture of various techniques, catering to the students' learning style.
- After I get a feel for what the student's level of knowledge is on the topic of their interest, I like to take a step-by-step approach to build a solid foundation and enable students to tackle more difficult content.
- Focus is on both the subject matter and how to excel in area of interest.
- I am patient and available at most times of the day.
- I have multiple degrees and have education at the graduate and professional level. As such, I can offer lessons for students elementary through high school, college, some graduate, and some professional (medical school).
