About Daniel
I have diverse experience in teaching and tutoring. I have tutored young students from elementary up to college. I have taught algebra, pre-calculus, geometry, statistics, and physics.
Students who work with me can expect a professional, supportive, and respectful learning environment. My goal is to help students build confidence, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and feel more prepared for class, assignments, and exams.

My teaching philosophy is based on student-centered learning. My typical lesson starts with a scenario that defines where and when we might need the skills that we are about to cover, followed by activities and examples. Afterward, we do a lot of practice to make sure students are comfortable in solving problems. Then we close with a takeaway about the lesson. In tutoring, it is similar too. I help students with how to learn and understand statistics.
I am a caring tutor and I find joy in helping my students. My goal is for my students to find joy and purpose in learning statistics. I will make sure you gain confidence in statistics.
