I have used vocal coaches in the past and I have also subscribed to a number of online vocal coaches but was never overly impressed and as a result never progressed at the rate that I needed to. I found too many so called professionals to be too wooden, regimented and steeped in old fashioned ways which just didn’t click with me.
It was therefore a real blessing when I came across Amber Ackerman. Don’t expect the usual stereotypical paint by numbers coaching - expect to be challenged, expect to be taken out of your comfort zone - expect to learn how to really sing for once!
I come away from every session revitalised, more confident, more optimistic and eager to have my next session.
It is also worth noting that Amber is much more than a vocal coach, she is also a great songwriter with bags of creativity and ingenious ideas so is an ideal songwriting partner.
Amber also has a dance and acting background so can show you how to be a real performer regardless of the genre.

Amber can conduct a classical based traditional lesson if that’s your bag, however, I prefer to split mine between classical and then more progressive styles and methodologies.
