About Franciel
Show Professionalism
Be prepared - lesson plan, materials, and clean board ready before class starts
Be on time and dress neat - students copy what they see
Correct gently, never shame a slow reader
Inspire Confidence
Read aloud first yourself - with clear pronunciation and expression
Give small wins - let them master 1 paragraph before giving a full page
Praise effort, not just perfect answers: "Good try, you got the sound right"
Establish Legitimacy
Know your subject - explain WHY we read that way, not just "because"
Use real materials - labels, news, chats, not just textbook
Show results - track their reading speed / words per minute and show them improving
Formula: You read it well + You explain it clearly + They improve = They will
