I am an Early Childhood Educator with sixteen years of experience. I have a passion for reading and teaching others to read. Using a variety of platforms, I engage my students in both hands on as well as technology based learning. I enjoy really getting to know my students, as it makes designing lessons tailored to them. I have found that when a lesson is tailored towards a specific child they engage more. I also enjoy allowing the student to teach me a lesson. After being taught a concept and having independent practice with it, allowing the student to teach me allows me to understand their process. This is also fun for students as they are the teacher and get to show off what they know. I specialize in Early Childhood Education, but am also comfortable with Elementary age students to help them grow as readers and future leaders.
