About Tess
My time as an SLSO gave me a passion for education and teaching that I never realised I had. I loved getting to know my students and watching them overcome academic hurdles.
I have loved English my entire life and I love sharing that passion with kids and watching it grow within them.
I am new to academic teaching, but I have been working with children for many years as a martial arts instructor which I love.

During my time as a SLSO, I understood the classroom dynamics from the perspective of a teacher. I honed my one-on-one skills through meeting with year 12 Extension 2 English students and discussing their Major Work plans.
The Typical length of a lesson is 1 hour twice a week, though the initial lesson may be longer in order to gage skill level and needs of my student.
