About Kathy
I’m passionate about Biology and the way it helps us make sense of the world, and that’s exactly what inspires me to teach. Having studied Pharmacology at Queen Mary University of London and being a current Dental student, I know how challenging it can sometimes feel, but also how rewarding it is when everything clicks into place. I want to share that experience with my students – not just to help with exams, but to build real understanding and confidence. Teaching is something I truly enjoy because it allows me to support others in reaching their potential, and seeing my students grow in knowledge and self-belief is what motivates me every day.

I offer tailored one-to-one Biology tutoring for GCSE and A-level students, with a focus on building confidence as well as exam success. My approach is highly personal – I take time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning style, then design lessons that suit their pace and goals. Whether it’s breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, practising exam technique, or developing effective revision strategies, I make sure every session is engaging, supportive, and productive. My aim is not just to help students achieve top grades, but also to spark genuine interest and enjoyment in the subject.
