About Angie
My love of music and learning started when I was young. I studied piano at age 5 and attended the Peabody Conservatory of Music for lessons in high school. I have my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music Education. I started teaching lessons when I was in high school and have continued for 30 years. I love music theatre and drama also and have been the musical and pit director for many shows. I play the organ, guitar, and am an accomplished vocalist. I also perform in a band who plays local gigs.

We meet one-on-one so I tailor each lesson to the individual student. I find out where you are, and help you grow and learn. We will work on warm-ups, reading music, technique, repertoire, and the performance aspect. I start at age 5 and up. I teach beginners through advanced level. I have helped many students to prepare for college auditions and they have won numerous scholarships at music schools. I have helped students prepare for music theatre auditions and helped them land their dream role.
I also specialize in helping students write essays for college and scholarship applications.
