About Gemma
I am a student at the University of Sheffield currently finishing my History degree with my thesis on the women's liberation movement in the 1970s. I have A levels in English literature and Language A*
, Media and film A and History A focusing on British political history, international relations and the Russian revolution.
As a prefect at high school and sixth form I have previously tutored GCSE students in geography, history and English as well as delivering coursework help and proof reading for personal statements for university applications. I also help with a kids club at my local museum.
I have studied Shakespeare in depth as well as English and American classic literature and poetry.
Throughout my degree, I have studied many different topics including British politics and social movements 1800s to present, Tudor history, decolonisation, the cold war, early modern american history, LGBT history and world revolutions.

I deliver fun and engaging content via presentations explaining the given topic whether literature, history or geography and encourage my students to engage with interactive tasks and quizzes to summarise. We will work through tasks and worksheets together to consolidate your learning.
