I have been learning to play the piano for less than a year. In a very short space of time I am already reading, music , playing short tunes and increasing my knowledge of music theory. Leonardo is very patient, encouraging and at the same time challenging to ensure you learn and gain confidence.

Leonardo was carefully listening to us and our daughter's needs when we first met. He adjusted his approach including pedagogy, practice and theory to our priorities and how he saw our daughter. On the third week our daughter (who stopped learning piano more than two years ago) started playing and practising with enthusiasm. We think that Leonardo possesses the right language and sensitivity to take care of her motivation and let the music be born inside her. He never watches the time rigorously at the end of the lessons and always has time for a chat about either the progress or the weather in England :-)

Studying music theory has never been great fun to me, but Leonardo is very good in explaining the reasons behind harmony and melody and I'm seeing a lot of improvements. His approach is very practical so whatever I study he tries to put it into practice by asking me to write short songs or to analyse famous compositions. He is very patient and encouraging and has a great talent to find the best way to explain complex topics.
