About Philippa
I am currently a Policy Officer at a national environment charity/NGO and soon to be PhD student, with a wide range of experience in research and analysis in scientific subjects, particularly specialising in Biology / Natural Sciences.
My scientific ability is proven through achieving high level qualifications in sciences including a Animal Science BSc and a Master of Research In Biodiversity, Evolution and Conservation from the University of Reading and UCL. I am also about to begin a PhD at ZSL London Zoo focusing on biodiversity conservation.
Given my professional experience, I can also offer career advice as well as looking at university and job applications.

I'm approachable and patient teacher and will base lessons around the pace you would like to go at and areas you need to focus on. Lessons are an hour, but can be longer if requested, nd aimed at GISCE and A-Level students.
I have a breadth of experience in scientific subjects, but know that when it comes to passing exams, it is also knowledge in how to approach questions that really count.
My scientific background and experience gives me the ability to explain complex scientific principles in an easy and accessible way. I allow my students the time and attention they need to feel confident in the subject.
