About Sally
I am a secondary school teacher in an all-Irish school who has been giving grinds for 4 years in Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Irish. I completed my Bachelors in Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology and can teach through Irish or English as I'm fluent in both. I love science, Irish and maths, and really enjoy helping my students gain a better understanding and appreciation for their subjects.

I tailor my lessons to the student and their personal learning goals. My lessons typically last an hour but I am flexible about the duration of classes. For science subjects and maths, I usually introduce a concept using examples and demonstrating its applications, before moving on to practice problems and exam questions. For Irish, I tend to focus on speaking as much Irish as possible and having the student engage with me in Irish, as this is normally the aspect most students lack in. I can adjust my approach easily for students who prefer alternative focuses.
