About Sullivan
I’m a 23-year-old Graduate Engineer working in materials diagnostics, with strong experience applying math and physics in real engineering contexts. I studied Specialist Math, Physics, and multiple Sciences through high school, and have a solid understanding of how to study effectively and succeed within the Australian curriculum. I enjoy helping students see how what they’re learning actually connects to the real world, once concepts make sense, results quickly follow. My goal is to make learning math and science more logical, less stressful, and enjoyable as these subjects may build the foundations of your career. Outside of tutoring, I’m heavily into fitness, engineering projects, and outdoor activities, so I know what it’s like trying to balance study with everything else going on in life. My lessons are designed to be efficient, practical, and genuinely useful.

I keep my lessons short, clear, and focused, typically 30 minutes, so you stay engaged and productive, even after a long day of school. Each session targets specific problem areas to make sure every concept clicks before moving on.
I specialise in helping high school students build confidence and achieve stronger results in Maths, Physics, and Science. My approach focuses on understanding the “why” behind each topic rather than just memorising methods.
Lessons are designed to:

- Strengthen problem-solving and exam technique
- Improve understanding and retention through practical examples
Lessons are run online via Zoom with shared whiteboard and examples worked live. Students receive summary notes and practice questions after each session to further enhance learning.
